World's Best Tools in your tool belt!

This week we learned all about safe, responsible use of social medias in schools.  Each district in my area have adopted their own stance on the issue in regards to legal, acceptable and usable situations.
Be sure you understand your social media policy at your school district before you post images or discussions publicly.

Symbaloo

This great resource is perfect for organizing groups of websites, in an easy-to-teach format for students to use directly.  My school district uses this as a base in our computer labs for students to access frequently used sites.  I searched and found a very useful symbaloo for art teachers, linked here.

If you want to look for mixes others have created, here is a great tutorial video.

You can search for links created by other teachers and shared for collaborative use.  This is especially helpful when you look for lessons or paths already created by others.

Here is a quick video on How to find Learning paths in Symbaloo

PADLET

Another excellent organizational tool for teachers!

Check here for my padlet I created to help in lesson planning, and shared collaborative ideas with teachers in my area of expertise- Elementary Art.
